4 years ago, fish this size filled this stream. Poor management, which red necks love destroyed this fishery in a matter of a few years. 8 fish limit and no size regulations. I litterally watched stringer after stringer pulled out this section. That's how delicate trout fisheries are, and this was a great example of what can happen in a matter of months. Which is a shame as these are unique species that spawn in the fall, most rainbow trout spawn during other of season.

Utah Fly Fishing 2011. Fly Fishing Utah's Scenic Back Country with the Cowfers on a Five Day Fishing Excursion. We hit some of Utah's most productive trout waters and caught more quality fish than have been seen in years.
This fish was a monster that Monique was thrilled to have caught, and said it made her day in a big fat Rainbow trout sort of way...
Please do not drop that trout. She managed to get a few good shots. One on my camera, and one on her I phone which she was able to send photos off to her friends right from the Provo river. Pretty cool catch and release.
