Wasatch Mountain range, today may 21st. The source for Utah's rivers and streams. This time of year river levels rise, which like low water conditions consolidates the fish into optimal areas if you know where to look, as well as cleanses the river and stream beds creating prime habitat for Utah's trout populations.
We go where the trout go, and the Rubicon get's us there. Spring fly fishing can be extreme in terms of arrival, due to the muddy passage. However, the Jeep has gets us into the back country a good month earlier to target with a fly rod, eager, hungry trophy trout ready to crush the first good fly you cast. Fishing fever hits early after a long winter, and we "jump like a willies in 4 wheel drive" to locations otherwise that would have not been accessible, the Rubicon gets us deep into the Utah back country's smaller big fish streams, Adventure coupled with fly fishing makes for absolutely terrific fun.The last few years spring in Utah has been anything but predictable, so its nice to have the PCE Jeep to get our clients and us to to the less traveled back country Utah fisheries. Makes for a two fold mission, one, to arrive safely at the river to do some fly fishing and two to make it out of. All part of the Park City Excursions experience, Utah fly fishing is an adventure that includes a little bit of it all, a true Rocky Mountain experience.
