The Florida team, after the Provo river fly fishing competition.. Another beautiful fall day fishing the Lower Provo river. October 16th 2011
David has been fly fishing for 70 years, his father taught him in the Appalachian Mountains, and other eastern fisheries. The sport being passed down from generation to generation is one the greatest ways which father's and sons can stay connected and share from year to year.
Healthy beast of a brown, all the big fish we caught today made it to the net. Rare occurance, it's rare to land so many big fish in a half day of fly fishing. Plenty of fish are caught, the trick is getting the big trout to the net, which these guys did it to perfection.
We go where the trout go, and the Rubicon get's us there. Spring fly fishing can be extreme in terms of arrival, due to the muddy passage. However, the Jeep has gets us into the back country a good month earlier to target with a fly rod, eager, hungry trophy trout ready to crush the first good fly you cast. Fishing fever hits early after a long winter, and we "jump like a willies in 4 wheel drive" to locations otherwise that would have not been accessible, the Rubicon gets us deep into the Utah back country's smaller big fish streams, Adventure coupled with fly fishing makes for absolutely terrific fun.The last few years spring in Utah has been anything but predictable, so its nice to have the PCE Jeep to get our clients and us to to the less traveled back country Utah fisheries. Makes for a two fold mission, one, to arrive safely at the river to do some fly fishing and two to make it out of. All part of the Park City Excursions experience, Utah fly fishing is an adventure that includes a little bit of it all, a true Rocky Mountain experience.
The demo cast hook a trout phenomenon. Turned out to be a great fish, and put up a hell of a battle. The current water conditions are high, running at about 800 cfs ( cubic feet per second ), which is high, but will get a few hundred cfs higher as things warm up. Deer creek reservoir is maxed out, so we could be in for a long period of high water fishing conditions. Many anglers struggle with success in high water, for me, I thrive when the lower flows are heavy. As you can see from the photos, high water did not keep trout off our hooks. We caught a pile, for lack of a better fishing term for a ton of fish.Book your trip and take advantage of no crowds and big wild fish, as well as a free photo video album, you cannot go wrong. http://www.parkcityeXcursions.com edit

This fills a 2 fold roll one, to keep you fishing and not worrying about missing a moment and second, as a motivator for us to get our clients into as many fish as possible, It's tough to put a fishing adventure videos together with no fish, as you will see in our albums, some people have many pictures of both rainbow and brown and other days there is less, and the quantity of variables that each day presents will all be part of the experience. Additionally, few people like hearing about a trip to Hawaii or Vegas and for that matter the Provo river, but love a few good pics, and even better a bit of video. We put our trips out there and our proud of the level of superior service we offer. If we had doubts in are abilities as Utah's fly fishing guide service of choice it would probably be in our best interest to keep our work out of the public eye. We do our best, and try are hardest to put are give our clients the best possible position to maximize both the amount of knowledge balanced with some good trout action. .
